MOPS: Optimum Signal Conditioning for Synchronous Multi-Channel Acquisition

For more than 20 years the MOPS (Modular Processor controlled Signal recording system) has already proven its reliability employing optimal signal processing and unique expandability due to its “plug and play” feature.

Today a whole host of signal conditioning modules for all kinds of measurement tasks is available:

Used as a measuring amplifier the new MOPS Evolution offers you technical capabilities, users of other systems can only dream of: programmable continuous amplification between 1 and 10000, continuously programmable active low pass filters with Bessel- or Butterworth characteristics from 3 Hz to 20 kHz cut-off frequency, auto zero over multiples of the input range and much more.

Furthermore amplifier modules for nearly every type of sensors in the market are available, as well as serial bus and CAN-bus interfaces. High end counter boards, like the MOPS-MPC or HEI module, provide an accuracy that for the first time even allows for measurements of rotational irregularities with 48 bits resolution in a standard measurement system. Of course the new WFT-Cx wheel force transducers are supported in all their functions by the MOPS Evolution too.

Up to 1024 analogue and/or digital channels can be processed sychronously by MOPS – offering a sum sampling frequency of up to 250kS/s. The resultant data stream may be directly transferred to any PC or notebook – e.g. by wireless Ethernet connection. The software RemusLAB provides comfortable setting of the MOPS channels and the option to parameterize several MOPS units synchronously as well as to process CAN-Bus signals simultaneously.
